General Insect Management

All accounts are priced individually but a few guidelines will apply to most residential and commercial accounts for General insect management(all pricing is subject to change).

General insect management includes the following insects:  small ants, centipedes, crickets, earwigs, millipedes, pill bugs and most spiders (see insects not included below).

General insect management does NOT include the following: Black Widow Spiders, Brown Recluse Spiders, Carpenter Ants, Carpenter Bees, Cluster Flies, Fleas, Bed Bugs, Hornets, Lice, Mites, Mosquitoes, Powderpost Beetles, Stored Product Pests, Termites, Ticks and Yellowjackets.  These insects and a few more are specialty insects and require different control methods that are more time consuming, may require greater material needs, and/or are more dangerous than the general insects.  These insects require more information than square footage of the structure to determine a management program. 

Initial Service consists of an inspection of the target pest, determining a management program for the customer, recommendation on treating and/or sealing up small cracks and crevices that allow insects to enter the structure and an interior and exterior treatments if required for pest management.

One Time Service consists of the same service as the Initial Service, however, the guarantee is for 30 days.

Monthly Service consists of an inspection, treatment ( if applicable to the management program or needed).  This service is guaranteed for 30 days.  This service will begin with an Initial Service.

Every Other Month Service consists of an inspection, treatment ( if applicable to the management program or needed).  This service is guaranteed for 60 days.  This service will begin with an Initial Service.

Every Other Month Exterior Service consists of an inspection, treatment of exterior only (if applicable to the management program or needed).  This service is guaranteed for 60 days.  This service will begin with anInitial Service.

Quarterly Exterior Service is the most popular service, and the best value to the customer for managing pests.  Innovative Pest Management recommends this maintenance program for most residential homes.  Customers find this service to be both convenient and effective.  In this service we inspect the structure for pest problems, check monitors (if used), treat and/or seal up small cracks and crevices that are allowing pests into the house, and treat insect pests ( if applicable to the management program or needed).  This service will begin with an Initial Service and may need a follow up service in one month to manage moderate/heavy infestations (the "follow up" service begins the quarterly service and is charged at the quarterly service price).   Additional services between quarterly visits are no additional charge providing service is maintained quarterly.

Biannual Service consists of the inspection, checking of monitors (if used), crack and crevice treatment and/or sealing, and treating any pests found during the inspection.  It also includes a treatment to deter general insects from coming into the house.  Biannual services begin with an Initial Service.

Termite Inspection (Wood Destroying Insect Inspection) consists of an interior and exteroir inspection of the structure including crawl space, main levels and attic areas.  Inspections are done with several instruments including a moisture meter, screwdriver, or probing tool, a small tool to check the mulch bed, and a good flashlight.  Inspections take no less than 60 minutes and can be as long as required for a thorough inspection; with an average of 90 minutes.  The Inspection papers can be mailed to the realtor, mortgage company, or the person requesting the inspection.  A copy of the inspection can also be e-mailed or faxed.  Access will be required to all parts of the structure.  Innovative Pest Management does NOT try to sell treatment for wood destroying insects on structures that it inspects (unless requested by the current owner, no proposal for treatment is given with inspection) ; so you will receive a non-biased reportwith all visible wood destroying insect reported ( Termites, Carpenter Ants, Carpenter Bees, Old House Borer, and Powderpost Beetles).    See more about our inspections.
